Plan Ahead

Plan Ahead

Preplanning your funeral will ensure that your family has peace of mind and is financially stable during an incredibly emotional time. By planning your funeral ahead of time, your family will know exactly what you would like during your celebration of life while saving them from making tough decisions when they may not be thinking properly.

What are the benefits of preplanning your funeral?

You will be designing your own personal tribute, meaning you have complete control of exactly what happens during your celebration of life. Some details you can choose include:

  • The option of having a traditional funeral or cremation.
  • Whether you want to be laid to rest in a mausoleum or if you’d like to be buried in-ground. You can also decide on the design of your gravestone or memorial plaque.
  • What personal touches you’d like to be included.

Can I prepay for all the funeral arrangements?

Yes, and we recommend it. When you prepay, you not only leave your family members without needing to worry about the extra costs, but you’ll lock in your price and won’t have to worry about inflation or rising costs. Depending on your wishes, there are flexible payment plans to make prepayment attainable for you.

Why do I need to pre-plan if I have life insurance?

Life insurance is for the living. It was meant to replace your income for the next several years. However, while the life insurance settlement may alleviate some costs, you’ll be able to personally pick and choose the details you’d like at your funeral when you preplan. Life insurance will not lock in today’s pricing and will not have your chooses already made as if you would when you preplan your funeral/cemetery/cremation.
